Rope Bowl Class

In this fun and creative workshop, you’ll learn how to make your very own decorative rope bowl!
Your instructor, Dawn Filzen, will guide you step-by-step through the process of turning plain rope or clotheline into a
one-of-a-kind creation. Learn to stitch rope, shape the bowl, join lengths of rope together, wrap the rope with fabric, and
how to finish it all creatively! Perfect as a gift, a catch-all for your keys and trinkets, or a vibrant piece of home
decor, your finished rope bowl will be both beautiful and functional.

Supplies:

10 yards or more of 3/16th cotton rope or clothesline
Fabric scraps, 1 to 1-1/2"
Matching threads
Glue stick
Sewing machine
Jeans/denim needles work great
Zig Zag foot
Sewing supplies
Stiletto
Marking pens
Rotary cutter/mat
Clips
Optional - small designs for applique, Heat N Bond Lite, sharp scissors
