Binding Class

Learn the technique of bias double-fold binding, crisp corners, machine or hand finishes. Class will also include a discussion of other binding techniques such as mock bindings and "pillow turn" bindings. Rather than working on a quilt, students will work on attaching bias binding to an 18" square of pre-quilted fabric that will be turned into a cute "Three Pocket Purse".

Materials Included:	Fabric Kit provided
Requirements:	Supplies: Fabric Kit - provided in class Sewing Machine, foot pedal & cord Walking foot 100% cotton thread in a neutral color Rotary cutter, mat, rulers: (6" X 24") & (12 1/2 square (optional)) Pencil & paper Steam-A-Seam II 1/4" fusible web tape (optional) Hand sewing needle and thimble Sewing gauge Fabric Scissors and other basic sewing supplies (pins, seam ripper, etc.)
